Before you reserve
Questions people ask at the stall
If yours is not here, the letter form reaches us directly.
How is second-hand condition judged?
Every second-hand book, record and rug is checked before it reaches the table. Books are complete, records play through, rugs are washed. Anything with a fault worth mentioning says so on its label.
Is the reservation binding?
No. A reservation keeps the items aside for seven days. If you change your mind, tell us and they go back on the table; nothing is charged.
Can you find something that is not in the catalogue?
Often, yes — books and records especially. Write what you are looking for and we will say whether it can be found and roughly what it will cost.
How quickly does delivery come?
Delivery comes on the next working day after you reserve, and the courier calls an hour before arriving.
